2006 Clos Du Val Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, California $32
This winery always makes high class exceptional wines and this Cabernet is a terrific example. The aromas were terrific light clouds of currants, and vanilla carry over the mouth perfectly. In addition there are layers of cassis and a dried mixture of herbs, with a chalky cocoa powder finish. Loaded with dark fruit and spice you cannot go wrong with bigger hearty meals.
