This is an extremely interesting liquor from Italy; it is distilled from a delicate blend of flowers, herbs, dried fruits, spices, licorice, and a touch of caramel. Nice with a little soda water or ginger ale it is also becoming more popular in bars as a very versatile mixer. This company was started in 1868 and is now fourth generation operated, and still uses the original recipe from 1854 and only natural ingredients. Aromas of licorice and dried orange zest fill the glass and lead into a rich melody of flavors.
