Childress Vineyards Blanc de Blanc Victory Cuvee Brut Sparkling Wine, North Carolina $20
Another terrific wine from our neighbor up north. Aromas of
yellow apples and a clean slate freshness. The flavors were exceptional dried
apples, creamy pears, and layers of vanilla coated the mouth with each sip. The
finish was crisp and fresh with all the apples notes floating on the tongue
just waiting for the next sip. This wine will would pair perfectly with a crab
stuffed mushroom cap, any creamy seafood dish, or crème brulee.
