2009 Sierra Nevada ESB Early Spring Beer, California 5.9% Alcohol
This beer has a light orange hue with a very citrus
influenced nose, orange peel and some light hops. The flavors were great with a
slight bitterness balanced with just the right amount of malt notes. Flavors of
lemon grass and caramel were balanced out by layers of malt and fruitiness.
Overall this is a terrific beer from Sierra Nevada that is worth grabbing a six
pack to try. Would work well with grilled chicken or even pork roast.
